Employee or independent contractor. That seems to be a million-dollar question. The state, the federal, the IRS, and almost every agency is now looking into this question. The government wants everybody to be employees. Not going to be possible because all of us run our own businesses and we have to be contractors, but the people that work for us, the question is, in most cases, are they truly employees and if they are and the IRS finds out, guys, the penalties are going up and up. So you need to make sure that if you have an employee that you’re treating as a subcontractor, make this new year have one new start right. Give me a call if you need help.
