What do you do when it’s almost time to file your taxes and people aren’t giving you tax forms? You haven’t received your W2s you haven’t received your 1099? How can you file your taxes and you don’t even have your last paycheck stub because everything is electronic, and you don’t know exactly where to go get this information. And you call the IRS or you look on the IRS website and they say well, you just have to wait. Well, the first thing you want to do if at all possible is you need to go back to your employer and say I haven’t received it I will come by and pick it up. They can charge you a fee if it is electronic form, but make sure you have your documents. Otherwise, you’re at the mercy of the IRS to file the taxes for you.
